Dr. Stephen Levine

Stephen received his PhD in 1976, in both genetics and biochemistry, from U.C. Berkeley. He soon found that nutritional biochemistry was much more compelling than his lab work. He soon became proficient in the vast nutritional applications of the mineral selenium and its applications to immunity and more recently to longevity. He then founded the now renowned Allergy Research Group / Nutricology in 1979. This was sparked due to his personal therapeutic experiences with selenium, which greatly improved his universal reactor syndrome brought on by chemical sensitivities.

During his recovery process using selenite, he became a voracious student of the chemistry relating to free radical pathology. As a causal thinker, Stephen brought forth his elegant book (1985), which for the first time in modern history, elucidated key underlying mechanisms of chronic inflammation in diverse pathologies. His book entitled, Antioxidant Adaptation: Its role in Free Radical Chemistry with Coauthor Paris Kidd Ph.D, consolidated decades of his in-depth research.

I was among the first to purchase his pre-publication edition. This was at a time when I myself was suffering from unrelenting chronic fatigue syndrome due to an insidious genetic microclotting disorder. His company was then producing Germanium Sesquioxide (organic germanium), which was the only supplement I had ever taken up till then that corrected by relentless fatigue.

Continuing now with Dr. Levine. He was a regular attendee at many popular and prestigious medical seminars. There he met many doctors that were spear-heading the movement into integrative medicine. As his contacts influenced him over the years, Stephen became an expert in clinical nutritional medicine and as a result, his company perfected numerous state-of-the-art block-buster nutritional formulas, helping thousands recover from complicated syndromes.

Toward the end of the 1990’s, his company brought to America elite potent growth factor supplements made from frozen neo-natal glandular extracts.

Since I had just finished writing my first book on the subject of glandular therapy, I shared my pre-publication issue with him to read and critique. From there, he sponsored me to lecture at several national conventions alongside accomplished and well-published scientists specializing in the field of growth factor and growth peptide induced regenerative healing. That was a lot of fun for me.

From this early start and my follow-on insights, we now work together to perfect new longevity protocols for selenium, CBD, and easy to make delicious recipes that stimulate anti-aging stem cell activities.

His writings in his specialty fields are still fresh and alive now 50 years later. He now serves as our MID Director of Science and Publications.
